L’ILE MYSTÉRIEUSE, RESTAURANT LOUNGE
Welcome to our unique Restaurant Lounge and Tapas Bar, so named in honour of the great 19th Century French writer and scientist, well-known for his adventure novels. One of these tales – L’île Mystérieuse – relates the spectacular end of the voyages of Capitaine Nemo and his famous submarine, the Nautilus. Here, the atmosphere is akin to a warm cocoon where modern design elements in a luxurious setting adorned with wood panelling and collectibles from the 19th Century, you can find us in an elegant home in the Pointe-au-Pic sector of La Malbaie, in Charlevoix.
We offer several mouth-watering experiences according to the hours of the day and your specific food tastes : quick gourmet lunches combining soup, sandwich or salad, then in early afternoon, English High Tea with generous platters of sweet and savoury bites. Late afternoon is Happy Hour when tapas, planchas and desserts accompany you throughout the evening. We also offer a large selection of mocktails, cocktails, beer, wine, after-dinner liqueurs and home grown products served by a charming and efficient staff whose knowledge and passion will enhance your new culinary adventure. For more than 18 years, Boutique Charlevoix has been the contemporary showcase for Charlevoix arts and crafts: linen, blankets and bed covers, knitwear and alpagas, jewellery, sculptures, etchings, pottery and other forms of arts and crafts…In 2022, Boutique Charlevoix joined the Truchon family business and offers the Truchon at Home selection of gourmet ready-to-eat meals from our kitchens as well as local products and table accessories such as Japanese knives, wood planchas, table linen, pepper mills locally made here in Quebec and more.
